Lux Category 6A F/FTP cable is individual shielded with aluminum foil for each twisted pair and all four pairs are wrapped by an overall metallic foil. The foil shield twisted pair protects the cable from external EMI from entering or exiting the cable and neighboring crosstalk.
The shielded cable enhances data throughput in harsh EMI environments and improves the performance standards for twisted pair cable systems. The improvement shows practically in the realm of alien crosstalk as compared to UTP cables.
The Category 6A F/FTP cable is composed of 23 AWG (0.55) solid bare copper conductors and fully complied with ISO/IEC11801 Class EA and TIA/EIA-568-D.2.
The solution is suitable for all Category 6A copper network cabling.
