The Category 5 multi-pair cable is used for voice or telco applications which is constructed of solid bare copper conductors with PVC or LSZH jacket.
The 25-pair Category 5 U/UTP cable is composed of 24 AWG (0.50) solid bare copper conductors and fully complied with TIA-568-D.2 Category 5 component standards.
